Curry Leads Warriors To A Spectacular Game 2 Win Against The Rockets

Well NBA fans, you’re getting your money’s worth.

The duel between the NBA MVP and the runner-up has proved to be nothing short of exciting. Stephen Currry and James Harden are putting on exactly the kind of display that makes playoff season so damn exciting.

Yesterday’s Game 2 in the series between the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors saw Curry put up 33 points to help give the Warriors a 2-0 lead against the Rockets.

Or as Warriors center Andrew Bought so eloquently puts it:

“Sometimes I want to crack open a beer and get a courtside seat. These two guys are the two best basketball players in the world.” (Fox Sports)

After Harden rallied his team from being 17 points down in the second quarter, Harden found himself unable to attempt a game-winning shot after getting trapped by Klay Tompson and Curry to keep the score 99-98.

Though nobody could fault Harden for his 38 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists. And while it’s easy to count out the Rockets with a 2 game deficit, it didn’t seem to stop them during their last series against the Clippers.

The saga continues in Game 3 tomorrow night.
